Admission Process

St. Mel School admits students of any race, color and national or ethnic origin. Students who are parishioners of St. Mel and Divine Savior parishes receive admission priority. In addition, priority will be given to siblings of St. Mel School students. Grades One through Eight – Parents must complete a New Family Registration Form for any student applying to grades One through Eight. An entrance assessment is given to interested students upon completing the New Family form to verify appropriate grade placement and to determine whether St. Mel School can meet the needs of the transfer student. Copies of recent report cards and standardized tests will be requested for review.
