I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Math and Computer Science from Vanderbilt University. I served as an officer in the Air Force for four years. Just before completing my Air Force commitment, I got married and spent 24 years as an Army wife, raising seven children. During those years, I did not work professionally but dedicated my time to volunteering, particularly in teaching Catholic Faith Formation classes for all ages and grade levels. While overseas, I developed a curriculum to prepare my children and other English-speaking children for the Sacraments of Eucharist and Confirmation.
I am actively engaged in ongoing classes in Theology and Philosophy through my vocation to Opus Dei. These classes and retreats are a major hobby of mine, as I invest a significant amount of time in learning and sharing what I learn. Additionally, I enjoy reading, swimming, hiking, and gardening.
