Hi! My name is Jennifer Nucum-Reyes, and this is my second year as the Transitional Kindergarten Teacher at St. Mel’s. I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Guam and graduated from the University of Guam with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. I began my teaching career in 2003 as a Kindergarten/1st grade combo teacher.
I also worked for the Diocese of Oakland for 11 years as a Pre-Kindergarten Director/Teacher at St. John Catholic School. After moving from the Bay Area in 2016, I taught part-time for the City of Roseville, Blue Oaks Elementary School, Rocklin Academy, and John Adams Academy. I joined St. Mel School in November 2021 as the Lead Preschool Teacher, and since then, I have truly felt at home.
Catholic education is my calling! I lead a faith-filled classroom and aim to teach your children to love God, love themselves, and love everyone and everything around them. I am excited for the 2024-2025 school year!
