My name is Katie Stachniuk, and I am the 5th-grade instructional aide at St. Mel. This is my second year in this role, and I truly enjoy helping our students grow, learn, and prepare for middle school. I’ve been a part of the St. Mel community for about 15 years. My son Jacob began his journey at St. Mel in TK and graduated 8th grade in 2020. He’s now a freshman in college. My younger son, Jaxon, is currently in 3rd grade and absolutely loves all that our school has to offer! My husband Peter and I have been married for 23 years, and as a family, we enjoy camping, boating, beach trips, sports, spending time with friends and family, and traveling. I look forward to many more wonderful years at St. Mel School and Parish.
