My name is Nicole Ganetsos, and I am the 3rd Grade Teacher at Saint Mel School. This is my sixth year working in the Diocese of Sacramento and my fourth year teaching third grade, a truly special year of growth, independence, and discovery for students. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Oregon in 2019.
After graduation, I returned to my hometown of Sacramento to continue my path in education and later earned my Master of Arts in Teaching and Multiple Subject Credential from the University of San Francisco’s Sacramento campus in 2022. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling, and exploring new Pilates classes and local coffee shops.
I come from a large Greek family, and both my culture and faith are very important to me. Growing up, I was actively involved in my church community, participating in Greek dance, Sunday School, and other parish activities. I am passionate about teaching because it allows me to foster a love of learning and make a meaningful impact in the lives of my students. My goal is to create a warm, inclusive, and faith-filled classroom environment where students feel supported, valued, and inspired to grow both academically and spiritually.
